The journalist learned from the Ministry of Natural Resources that Typhoon "Boloyi" is gradually approaching the sea south of Hainan Island. Due to its impact, there will be large to huge waves in the eastern and southern coastal waters of Hainan. In response to this, the National Marine Forecast Station issued an orange wave warning today. It is expected that due to the impact of Typhoon Boloyi, from the morning of September 27th to the morning of the 28th, there will be waves of 5 to 8 meters in the central South China Sea, with a wave warning level of yellow in the nearshore waters; in the eastern and southern coastal waters of Hainan, waves of 3 to 5 meters will occur, with a wave warning level of orange in the nearshore waters, and waves of 2 to 3.3 meters will occur in the western parts of Guangdong, northern and western parts of Hainan, with a wave warning level of blue in the nearshore waters. Please remind all ships operating in the above-mentioned areas to pay attention to safety, and relevant coastal units should take precautionary measures in advance to avoid the waves.
