Recently, a netizen uncovered a video officially released by Xi Bei titled "I give the old man a bowl of soup, the old man wants to give me a house in Beijing", causing many people to criticize it. On September 26th, a reporter called the Xi Bei customer service hotline and the customer service staff confirmed that the video "I give the old man a bowl of soup, the old man wants to give me a house in Beijing" was indeed first released on the "Xi Bei Taste Morning Reading" public account. They said, "It is a true story, it was released earlier, not recently. And we did not make it public, it was only posted on this public account." They mentioned that this public account is mainly for communication and interaction among Xi Bei employees. When asked if Liu Mouxia started working at Xi Bei at the age of 15, the customer service staff said they were not sure. A reporter from Jimo News called the flagship store at Xi Bei in Liuliqiao, Beijing, and the staff said that Liu Mouxia was the former store manager there and has not been at the store since March of this year, and they are not aware of any other details.
