BMW recalls over 330,000 vehicles worldwide due to engine fire risk discovered earlier.

BMW is recalling at least 331,000 cars worldwide due to a defect in its starter motor a corrosion issue that could cause the component to catch fire. Most models produced between 2015 and 2021 will be affected. The company will need to repair 195,000 vehicles in the US and 136,000 vehicles in Germany. By 2024, BMW has already recalled 1.5 million vehicles due to brake system failures.
