The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade held a forum on the work of promoting trade in Tibet in Lhasa.

According to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Tibet Work Symposium of the Trade Promotion System and the "Tibet Tour" activity for Chinese and foreign enterprises were held from September 22nd to 25th. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade signed a memorandum of understanding with the People's Government of Tibet Autonomous Region to deepen cooperation. REN Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and ZHAO Peng, Vice Chairman of the Autonomous Region, attended the Tibet Work Symposium of the Trade Promotion System and delivered speeches. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the People's Government of Tibet Autonomous Region jointly organized a dialogue between government and enterprises as well as an investment forum. REN Hongbin and ZHAO Peng attended and delivered speeches. More than 200 representatives from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, relevant departments of the Tibet Autonomous Region, local governments, and enterprises participated in the exchange. Companies and institutions in the delegation signed cooperation agreements on site and donated funds and materials to grassroots units in Lhasa and Nyingchi. REN Hongbin also led the delegation to conduct research in Nyingchi, hold working meetings with the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, AO Liuquan, and visit relevant industrial parks and enterprises.
