On the 26th, Ding Xuxiang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, co-chaired the 22nd meeting of the China-Russia Energy Cooperation Committee with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak in Beijing. Ding Xuxiang proposed three suggestions for deepening practical cooperation in various areas of energy between China and Russia. Firstly, deepen the integration of interests, steadily promote the construction and operation of key projects, and consolidate the major achievements of energy cooperation. Secondly, adhere to complementary advantages, tap the cooperation potential in areas such as renewable energy, hydrogen energy, and energy storage, and promote energy transition and development. Thirdly, strengthen coordination and collaboration, jointly practice genuine multilateralism, and promote global governance initiatives in the energy field.
