Tencent launches "Elderly Taxi" service, now available nationwide.

On September 26th, Tencent ride-hailing service officially launched the "Family Taxi" mini program, focusing on helping elderly people solve the inconvenience of online taxiing. Users can open WeChat and search for "Family Taxi" to experience it. It is reported that Tencent's "Family Taxi" service does not require installing an app, registering, or entering an address, and the entire process is completed within WeChat. In the "Family Taxi" mini program, children can remotely set up common departure locations, destinations, and payment methods for their elders through WeChat. The elders only need to open the WeChat page and one-click to initiate a taxi call, without manually entering addresses or selecting car types, greatly reducing the usage threshold.
