Recently, Jiangsu Libote Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Shanghai Songjiang Branch to provide a joint and several liability guarantee of up to 400 million yuan for its wholly-owned subsidiary Shanghai Libote Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., with no counter-guarantee. The company had previously approved a total guarantee of up to 3.2 billion yuan for its subsidiaries, with an additional guarantee amount of 2 billion yuan for Libote Engineering. As of the announcement date, the company and its controlling subsidiaries had a total external guarantee amount of 3.3 billion yuan, accounting for 179.62% of the recent audited net assets, with no overdue guarantee situations. This guarantee is to meet the business needs of the subsidiary, with the guaranteed party having good credit and manageable risks.
