Seven departments: The added value of the petrochemical industry is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 5% or more from 2025 to 2026.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and 7 other departments have issued the "Stable Growth Work Plan for the Petrochemical Industry". It proposes that from 2025 to 2026, the added value of the petrochemical industry will grow by more than 5% annually, economic benefits will stabilize and rise, industrial scientific and technological innovation capabilities will significantly increase, refinement and extension, digital empowerment and the level of intrinsic safety will continue to improve, significant synergy and efficiency enhancement in pollution reduction and carbon reduction, and petrochemical industrial parks will transition from standardized construction to high-quality development.
