At the series of press conferences on "High-quality completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan" held by the State Council Information Office today, relevant officials from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security introduced that 12.24 million jobs were created nationwide in the first half of this year. This year, China has issued, for the first time, an implementation plan to tap into and expand job opportunities. Policies such as promoting direct subsidies for quick processing, increasing incentives for stable job retention, social security subsidies, training subsidies, etc., have been implemented. Initiatives have been launched to encourage social organizations to absorb graduates and expand job opportunities, increase the amount of stable job expansion loans, broaden the scope of social security subsidies, and support workers' employment and entrepreneurship. Different regions are actively expanding in various areas to tap into potential, focusing on expanding jobs in traditional industries through upgrades and creating space through the cultivation of emerging industries. In the first half of this year, a total of 12.24 million jobs were created, including over 7.6 million jobs driven by industrial substitution and major projects; and over 100,000 new jobs in areas such as artificial intelligence and the ice and snow economy. Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Security Yan Qinghui emphasized the maintenance of the heat of employment public services. The continuous establishment of "doorstep" employment service stations and "15-minute employment service circles," the launch of "small and beautiful" and "specialized and refined" recruitment projects, the recently concluded Hundred-Day Million Jobs Recruitment campaign has posted over 16 million job openings.
