In August, Hubei Province's industrial electricity consumption growth rate ranked first in central China.

According to the State Grid Hubei Electric Power Company Limited, in August of this year, the total electricity consumption in Hubei province increased by 6.1% year-on-year, with industrial electricity consumption increasing by 7.8%. Hubei ranked first among the six central provinces, indicating that the industrial economy in Hubei is maintaining a strong development momentum. Data shows that in August, 30 out of the 40 industrial categories in Hubei saw an increase in electricity consumption. Among them, the automotive industry, with its long industrial chain and strong driving force, saw an increase in electricity consumption by 17.7%. For example, Lantu Automotive recently released a series of new car models, leading to a booming production and sales situation. The electricity consumption of this enterprise increased by 129.9% year-on-year in August.
