On September 25th, the State Administration for Market Regulation held the second event for improving competitiveness in price monitoring in Xiamen, Fujian. They summarized and exchanged enforcement experiences and practices from various regions, and showcased on-site price monitoring inspections, anti-unfair competition, and crackdown on pyramid schemes and regulating direct selling. It is understood that market supervision departments at all levels across the country have been effectively promoting special actions to rectify online unfair competition behavior this year. By the end of August, a total of 8691 cases of unfair competition had been investigated and handled, with fines totaling 3.61 billion yuan. Among them, there were 1119 cases of online unfair competition resulting in fines totaling 46.54 million yuan, effectively promoting fair competition, optimizing the business environment, and effectively protecting the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises and consumers.
