According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on September 26, the National Energy Administration released the national electricity industry statistics for the period of January to August. As of the end of August, the cumulative installed capacity of electricity generation in the country was 3.69 billion kilowatts, an increase of 18.0% year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation was 1.12 billion kilowatts, an increase of 48.5% year-on-year; the installed capacity of wind power was 580 million kilowatts, an increase of 22.1% year-on-year. From January to August, the average utilization of electricity generation equipment in the country was 2105 hours, a decrease of 223 hours compared to the same period last year.
