The balance of green loans in Hubei Province has exceeded 1.79 trillion yuan.

According to information from the Hubei branch of the People's Bank of China, as of the end of the second quarter of 2025, the balance of green loans in Hubei Province exceeded 1.79 trillion yuan, accounting for 19.24% of the total loan balance, which is 3.45 percentage points higher than the national average. A total of 197 green bonds have been issued, with a total financing scale exceeding 270 billion yuan, leading the central six provinces in terms of issuance and financing amount.
