Intel (INTC.US) has been in contact with TSMC (TSM.US) to seek investment or cooperation.

Intelligent Financial APP learned that, according to media reports citing informed sources, chip manufacturer Intel (INTC.US) has contacted TSMC (TSM.US) to discuss investment or cooperation in the manufacturing field. Just recently, it was reported that Intel is in negotiations with Apple (AAPL.US) seeking the latter's investment in the troubled chip maker. Intel and TSMC both declined to comment on the report.
