The Beijing Municipal Safety Commission has implemented special supervision on the subway Line 13 "924" accident.

At around 12:47 am on September 24, 2025, a collision occurred between a maintenance vehicle on the high-altitude operation vehicle performing bridge maintenance near Lai Guangying Bridge and a rail grinding vehicle on Line 13 of the subway, resulting in one fatality and one injury. In order to carry out the accident investigation and handling work, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Reporting and Investigation of Production Safety Accidents" and the "Beijing Municipality's Methods for Supervising the Investigation and Handling of Production Safety Accidents", the Municipal Safety Commission has supervised the handling of the accident, urging the Chaoyang District government to establish an accident investigation team to promptly determine the cause and process of the accident, seriously hold accountable the responsible units and individuals, propose targeted rectification and preventive measures, and prevent similar accidents from occurring.
