Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation held a special news conference on regulating live e-commerce, focusing on a number of typical cases recently handled by market supervision departments across the country in the field of live e-commerce, guiding live e-commerce operators to operate in compliance with the law and purifying the industry ecology. In the first half of this year, the national online retail sales reached 7.4295 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.5% year-on-year, with live e-commerce playing an important role. At the same time, the disorder in the field of live e-commerce has also harmed the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and affected the healthy development of the industry. In the future, it is necessary for all parties to work together. Relevant departments should accelerate the promotion of legislation and regulations, establish a cross-departmental coordinated supervision mechanism, regularly release typical cases; platforms must strictly implement the main responsibilities, implement a "red and black list" public disclosure system, link compliance with business credit evaluation, strengthen content review and business management; in addition, consumers should enhance risk prevention awareness and rational rights protection capability, actively participate in social supervision, and jointly create a healthy and orderly ecosystem for live e-commerce.
