Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet, has agreed to partner with cryptocurrency miner Cipher Mining Inc. to build a $3 billion data center. Google will provide a $1.4 billion guarantee for the 10-year agreement with Fluidstack+Cipher, an artificial intelligence (AI) computing startup. Google will also have a 5.4% stake in Cipher.
