The latest released "Technical Specifications for Personal Information Protection of Investors in Securities Companies" by the Securities Association of China is a group standard. Securities firms such as Zhongtai Securities, Caixin Securities, Wanlian Securities, Guotai Haitong, Northeast Securities, Guolian Minsheng, and CMB Securities participated in the compilation, aiming to further protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors and regulate the handling of personal information of investors. According to the "Specifications", based on the characteristics of the business, securities firms should classify investors' personal information into four levels, 4th level, 3rd level, 2nd level, 1st level, according to the impact and harm caused by the security breach of personal information, with sensitive personal information of investors generally defined as level 3 and above. In addition, in specific scenarios combined with the actual business of securities industry, the "Specifications" specifically list the application requirements in six typical business scenarios.
