Market supervision administration: Preventing low prices and low quality, the first time to carry out special inspections of the quality of whole vehicle products of new energy vehicles.

On the morning of September 25th, the State Administration for Market Regulation held a special press conference on the key work of industrial product quality and safety supervision so far this year. Wang Shengli, director of the Quality Supervision Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, introduced that the administration has focused on key products, key industries, key issues, and key regions this year, further strengthened the governance of product quality and safety at the source, and conducted in-depth rectification of key product quality and safety issues. Around key areas such as children's and student supplies, gas appliances, mobile power sources, agricultural products, and vehicle-related products, the administration has deployed national supervisory sampling of 164 categories of products and over 16,000 batches of products, with the sampling work completed. In order to curb the trend of irrational competition in some industries and prevent the risk of low prices and low quality, the administration has initiated special national supervisory sampling for products such as photovoltaic modules and whole new energy vehicles. At the same time, efforts will be increased in national supervisory sampling of products sold online, with 70% more batches being sampled compared to 2024, with a focus on low-priced products.
