An executive said on Thursday that Lilly is planning to introduce its experimental oral weight loss drug, Orforpligron, into India. The company believes that there is potential for this type of product in the country with the largest population in the world. Winselow Tucker, President of Lilly India, said at an event in Mumbai, "I do believe that if products like Orforpligron can get approval in India, there is a good outlook." He also added that Lilly is looking forward to introducing this drug into the Indian market.
