On the 24th, Zhejiang Province imported the first batch of crude oil under the supervision of third-party inspection results. The new policy has reduced the waiting time for enterprises to import crude oil, improved the energy import business environment, and added further reform achievements to the construction of our province as a hub for commodity resource allocation. On that day, the "Caspian Sea" vessel berthed at the Lanshan terminal of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port under the supervision of Beilun Customs, where 87,000 tons of imported crude oil will be stored in the terminal tanks, waiting for the enterprises to put them into production. "Now, import crude oil enterprises can freely choose a third-party inspection institution listed in the 'Import Crude Oil Accreditation Directory' to conduct inspections on imported crude oil. The third-party inspection institution submits the inspection report in the accreditation management system, and after customs approval based on risk assessment, the goods can be quickly released," explained Wu Zongtao, Deputy Director of the Ningbo Customs Inspection Department. This measure breaks the traditional process of customs sampling inspection and release, making the inspection process more flexible and efficient.
