In France this summer, the cumulative number of cases of coronavirus in Guadeloupe is approaching 600.
The French Public Health Agency announced in a bulletin on the 24th that from May 1 to September 22 this year, the total number of chikungunya cases in the country reached 570, including 65 cases of local transmission. The bulletin stated that these cases are mainly concentrated in the warmer regions of southern France, including Provence-Alpes-Cte d'Azur, Corsica, and other areas that have been traditionally affected by outbreaks in previous years, but have also spread for the first time to the northern regions of Grand Est and Bourgogne-Franche-Comt.
