European software giant SAP and OpenAI announced today a partnership plan to launch the "German version of OpenAI", aiming to combine SAP's enterprise application expertise with OpenAI's leading AI technology to serve the German public sector. To ensure data sovereignty, the German OpenAI will be supported by SAP's subsidiary Delos Cloud running on Microsoft Azure technology.
