Today, the 175,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas transportation vessel designed and constructed independently by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Group has been officially delivered to China Merchants Shipping. This adds China's strength to the high value-added shipbuilding industry. The 175,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas transportation vessel delivered today has a total length of 295 meters and can transport enough LNG in one trip to meet the residential and industrial gas demand in Dalian for a month and a half. The vessel can dock at most large LNG terminals worldwide and will be used for liquefied natural gas transportation in ports around the world in the future.
