Six Departments: Increase the Proportion of Green Building Materials in Government Procurement Engineering Projects.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Water Resources, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly released the "Work Plan for Stabilizing Growth in the Building Materials Industry" on September 24th. Among them, it was proposed to promote the application of green building materials. Continuously carry out activities to promote green building materials in rural areas, encourage localities to develop green building material product catalogs suitable for local consumption habits, establish green building material consumption zones and offline experience centers, and innovate in organizing "small and beautiful" activities. Implement government procurement to support green building materials to promote the improvement of building quality policies, and increase the proportion of green building materials in government procurement projects. Increase efforts to implement the "Renovation" action for home decoration kitchens and bathrooms, support localities in incorporating green building materials into the scope of the consumer goods' old-for-new policy, and increase subsidies for ceramic thin tiles, smart toilets, integrated bathrooms, energy-efficient doors and windows, aging-appropriate building materials, home safety and protection products, etc. Carry out the "Good Materials Support Good Houses" action, strengthen the connection between production and application standards, support the development of a batch of model houses and application pilots for good materials, and expand the application of high-quality insulation materials, sound insulation materials, waterproof sealing materials, and other building materials. Support localities to strengthen the connection between upstream and downstream sectors, develop componentized and functional building materials products around different application demands for underground pipe corridors, ecological environment restoration, low-carbon and zero-carbon projects, and prefabricated decoration, etc.
