Closing of stock markets in Japan and Korea

The Nikkei 225 index closed up 136.65 points, or 0.30%, at 45,630.31 points. The TOPIX index closed up 0.2% at 3,170.45 points. The South Korean KOSPI index closed down 14.05 points, or 0.4%, at 3,472.14 points.
