The French National Center for Scientific Research recently released a bulletin stating that a pure electric car equipped with an intelligent battery integration system has started real road testing. This system helps to improve vehicle space utilization and simplify maintenance processes. According to the bulletin, this electric car model is the Peugeot E-3008, launched through cooperation between multinational car manufacturer Stellantis and the French battery company Saft. The IBIS integrated system directly integrates the functions of the inverter and charger into the battery, restructuring the electric power system without being limited by the battery chemistry system or application scenarios. This architecture supports both AC and DC power, providing power directly to the motor or grid, as well as supplying power to the vehicle's 12V network and auxiliary systems.
