By the end of August 2025, the cumulative transaction volume of the national greenhouse gas voluntary emission reduction trading market was 2.7061 million tons, with a total transaction value of 229 million yuan. The average transaction price has exceeded 100 yuan per ton multiple times. 90 market entities participated in the trading, with project owners accounting for 71% of the total trading volume, providing additional emission reduction benefits for carbon reduction projects and technological innovation development.
