Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development: 21,700 urban older communities nationwide started renovation from January to August.

According to the Zhitong Finance and Economics APP, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development announced on September 24 that by 2025, a total of 25,000 urban old residential areas are planned to be newly renovated nationwide. Based on the statistics reported by various regions, from January to August, a total of 21,700 urban old residential areas have started renovation projects nationwide. Looking at different regions, Hebei, Liaoning, Chongqing, Jiangsu, Anhui, Chongqing, and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps have all started renovation projects already.
