South Korea imposes temporary anti-dumping duties on carbon and alloy steel hot-rolled coil products related to China.

On September 23, the Korean Ministry of Planning and Finance issued Announcement No. 2025-39, deciding to impose temporary anti-dumping duties on hot-rolled coil of carbon steel and alloy steel originating from China and Japan. China Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and its affiliates and exporters are subject to a rate of 29.89%, Benxi Steel Group Co., Ltd. and its affiliates and exporters are subject to a rate of 28.16%, Dalian Yuhao Hong Kong International Trade Co., Ltd., Fengrui International Co., Ltd., Sino Commodities International Pte., Ltd., and their exporters as well as other Chinese manufacturers/exporters are subject to a rate of 33.10%; the temporary anti-dumping duties for Japanese manufacturers/exporters are between 31.58-33.57%. The measures will come into effect on September 23, 2025 and will be valid for four months until January 22, 2026.
