The executives of these three technology companies announced at a press conference held in Abilene, Texas that the new data centers will be located in Texas, New Mexico, and Ohio, eventually having a power generation capacity of 7 GW, equivalent to the power generation of some cities. OpenAI and Oracle have been developing the joint artificial intelligence infrastructure project called "Stargate" for months - the first data center with that name.
