Consumer confidence in South Korea has declined for the first time since March.
The Bank of Korea stated that due to concerns about US tariffs and the ongoing weakness in the construction industry, consumer confidence has decreased for the first time since March. The report shows that the composite consumer confidence index fell by 1.3 in September to 110.1, the lowest level since June. However, the index is still significantly above the neutral level of 100, indicating that households are still generally optimistic.
