Kuwait's crude oil production capacity reaches a new high in over a decade.

Kuwaiti Oil Minister Talal Al-Rumaih said that the country's crude oil production capacity has reached a daily average of 3.2 million barrels, the highest level in over a decade. Al-Rumaih disclosed this figure in an interview with Kuwait's Al-Jarida newspaper. According to Al-Rumaih, under the agreement between the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC oil-producing countries, Kuwait plans to increase its daily crude oil production to 2.559 million barrels from October.
