Hong Kong stocks midday review: Hang Seng Index fell by 0.96%, Hang Seng Technology Index fell by 2.2%

Hong Kong stocks closed at midday with the Hang Seng Index falling by 0.96% and the Hang Seng Technology Index dropping by 2.2%. The Hong Kong Science and Technology ETF fell by 2.05%, while the Hang Seng Stock Connect ETF dropped by 0.84%. In terms of sectors, the hotel and resort REIT sector saw the highest increase, while the passenger airlines and life sciences tools sectors saw the biggest decrease. In terms of individual stocks, Yunzhihui Technology soared by over 79%, while Minshi Group fell by 7.93% and Canggang Railway dropped by 12.5%. Hong Kong Broadband rose by 17.69% and Hilltop Holdings rose by 14.45%.
