At the fifth Urban Sub-center Green Development Forum held last autumn, the city initiated the construction of an international benchmark city for green economy. Over the past year, the city has persisted in driving green transformation with technological innovation, focusing on building a complete chain of green technological innovation system including "research and development breakthroughs - results transformation - industrial application", allowing green technologies to rapidly transition from the "laboratory" to the "market". As of now, the city's effective green technology invention patents have reached 67,000, with an annual growth rate of 14.6%; nearly 200 key green technology laboratories and engineering technology centers have become the core base for gathering innovation resources, nurturing professional talents, and promoting technological iteration.
