The U.S. ITC issued a final ruling on Section 337 of glass substrates used for liquid crystal displays and their downstream products, as well as methods for manufacturing such substrates.

On September 22, the United States International Trade Commission announced that a 337 partial final ruling was made on specific glass substrates used for liquid crystal displays and their downstream products, as well as methods for manufacturing such substrates. The ruling states that the initial ruling made by the administrative law judge on August 26, 2025 will not be reviewed, as the applicant has withdrawn, thereby terminating the investigation into claims 1, 2, 4, and 12 of US Registered Patent No. 7,851,394 and claim 20 of US Registered Patent No. 9,512,025.
