On September 22, reporters learned from panel manufacturers and research institutions that China's leading LCD TV panel companies plan to take about a week off for the National Day holiday, which will help stabilize LCD TV panel prices in October. Zhang Hong, Deputy General Manager of the Large Size Display Division of Qunzhi Consulting, said that during this year's National Day holiday, mainland Chinese LCD TV panel manufacturers have different holiday plans for different production lines, with holidays lasting about 3-7 days. In order to prevent a drop in TV panel procurement demand in the fourth quarter from putting pressure on panel prices, panel manufacturers have chosen to proactively control production during the National Day holiday, which will play a positive role in maintaining stability in October's LCD TV panel prices. A TCL Huaxing representative confirmed to reporters that in the first week of October, TCL Huaxing is expected to have some production lines take time off. Representatives from BOE also revealed that some panel production lines are expected to take time off during the National Day holiday. The production control during last year's National Day long holiday had a noticeable effect, and this year, Chinese mainland LCD TV panel manufacturers taking time off during the National Day holiday are expected to help maintain stability in October's relevant panel prices compared to the previous month.
