Google's artificial intelligence assistant Gemini is about to land on the TV platform. On September 22nd, Google announced that it will introduce the Gemini feature for Google TV, allowing TV users to have smooth and natural language conversations with artificial intelligence (AI) through this feature. Once the full rollout is complete, the expansion of Gemini to this new platform will cover over 300 million active Google TV devices and other devices running on the Android TV operating system. In terms of TV-related functions, Google stated that Gemini's artificial intelligence can help users with different interests select content that both parties enjoy, as well as help users recap key plot points of their favorite shows from previous seasons. Additionally, users can use Gemini to search for related works when they can't remember the name of a movie or show, or ask for reviews of a certain work to determine if it is worth watching. However, given Gemini's personality, users can also ask it various other questions, just like using this artificial intelligence chatbot on a smartphone.
