Putin signs decree allowing foreign buyers to pay for natural gas in rubles through multiple Russian banks.

According to TASS, Russian President Putin has issued a decree stipulating that by the end of this year, foreign gas buyers can not only use the Gazprombank as an intermediary to pay for natural gas, but also through other Russian banks in rubles. The decree came into effect on Monday, September 22. Specifically, foreign companies can deposit funds into their accounts through a third party to pay for Russian natural gas, without having to do so directly through Gazprombank.
