Meta (META.US) subsidiary Llama has been approved to be listed on the United States Federal AI Tool List alongside Gemini, ChatGPT, and others.
According to the Zhitong Finance and Economics APP, senior US government officials revealed that US government agencies will be allowed to use the artificial intelligence model Llama developed by Meta Platforms (META.US). Josh Grohbaum, the procurement manager of the General Services Administration (GSA), stated in an interview before announcing the measure that GSA is including Llama on the official approved list of federal agencies' artificial intelligence tools, and government agencies can use the tool for free in the future. GSA has confirmed that it meets federal security and legal standards.
