At the 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum's special forum on "AI Quantum: Quantum Intelligence," Turing Award winner and president of the Shanghai Quantum Research Institute, Academician Yao Qizhi, stated in an interview with First Finance and other media outlets that China's quantum industry is still in its infancy, with a limited market size primarily focused on research instruments and basic experiments. However, he also mentioned that quantum technology is not limited to quantum computers, and applications such as quantum navigation are gradually showing potential. In the next five to ten years, many industries will emerge from quantum technology.
