Sinopec Tahex Refining and Chemical Integration Project starts construction.

On September 20th, Sinopec Tahe Petrochemical Company's integrated refining and chemical project started construction in Kuqa, Xinjiang. After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to add an annual output value of about 20.2 billion yuan, an additional tax revenue of about 3.5 billion yuan, and create job opportunities for about 10,000 people. The crude oil processing capacity of Tahe Petrochemical Company will reach 8.5 million tons per year, with the ability to produce ethylene and p-xylene series products.
