CSI A500 Index Fund celebrates its first anniversary with the latest size reaching nearly 440 billion yuan, a growth of nearly 50% from the initial issue size.

Starting from the establishment of the first product on September 20, 2024, the CSI A500 Index Fund celebrated its first anniversary on September 20 this year. In the past year, nearly 80 fund companies have entered the layout of the CSI A500 Index Fund. Including ETFs, ETF connections, ordinary index funds, index-enhanced funds, and other varieties, there are now 140 CSI A500 Index Funds established in the entire market, with the latest scale approaching 440 billion yuan, achieving nearly 50% growth from the issuance scale of about 300 billion yuan. Although previous predictions by market participants about the CSI A500 Index Fund surpassing the CSI 300 Index Fund in terms of scale have not been realized, in terms of product quantity and variety, fund companies have basically completed the initial layout. With continuous innovation in strategies and continued favor from large funds, the challenge of the CSI A500 Index Fund "not growing" is expected to be resolved in the future.
