According to the latest second quarter report, the Greater China region has become the largest market for Yamafen, with revenue increasing by 42% year-on-year to $410 million; revenue in the Americas region increased by 6% year-on-year to $395 million; revenue in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa was $276 million. Informed sources told reporters that Yamafen's annual revenue had already exceeded $10 billion, and many of Yamafen's stores in the United States, Europe, Japan, and other markets are also frequented by Chinese consumers. However, during the conference call after the release of this year's second quarter financial report, Yamafen Group CEO Zheng Jie revealed that this year, Yamafen will have a net closure of stores in the Greater China region, including some legacy partnership stores and outlet stores. However, Yamafen will still significantly enhance its brand image in China by opening large, high-quality, more efficient stores. "Looking ahead to 2026, after years of rationalizing the store network in this region, we plan to achieve net openings for Yamafen in China." Management also stated that they will proactively reduce discounts and outlet business. The company's CFO, Andrew Page, believes that "lower outlet sales have had a negative impact on the overall channel same-store sales of outdoor functional apparel, so Yamafen will continue to focus more on full-price sales and limit outlet sales both online and offline."
