During the summer vacation in August, the number of inbound tourists in Macau reached a record high for a single month, increasing by 15.5% year-on-year.

According to the China Intelligence Finance app, data from the Macao Statistics and Census Bureau on September 19th showed that during the summer vacation in August this year, the number of inbound tourists reached a record high of 4,219,034, a year-on-year increase of 15.5%. However, the number of same-day visitors (2,553,316) and overnight visitors (1,665,718) increased by 25.1% and 3.4% respectively compared to the same period last year. The average length of stay for tourists was 1.1 days, unchanged from the previous year; the length of stay for same-day visitors (0.3 days) and overnight visitors (2.3 days) also remained the same.
