On September 20th, the National Drug Centralized Procurement Office announced the 11th batch of national organized drug centralized procurement documents. According to the Drug Centralized Procurement Office, a total of 46,359 medical institutions nationwide participated in the bidding. 77% of the bids from medical institutions were specific to the brand, while 23% were based on generic names. Out of the 55 varieties included in this centralized procurement, 25 had generic drugs participating, with a bid share of approximately 30%. The person in charge of the Drug Centralized Procurement Office pointed out that the bidding ratio for this centralized procurement is similar to previous ones, with about 80% of the bids from medical institutions being the agreed procurement quantity. For varieties with 3 or fewer selected enterprises, the bidding ratio is appropriately reduced. Based on this, department and expert opinions were adopted to lower the bidding ratio by 10-20 percentage points for corticosteroid drugs, antibacterial drugs, varieties with limited indications for use, and key monitoring drugs, reducing it to 60-70%.
