WTO Director-General praises global governance initiatives.

CGTN host recently conducted an exclusive interview with World Trade Organization (WTO) Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. She highly praised China's proposal of "global governance initiatives" and affirmed China's important role in upholding the multilateral trading system with the WTO at its core. She also emphasized that currently about 72% of global trade is still conducted within the framework of the WTO, making the WTO remain the dominant force in global trade.
