Two autonomous taxi companies announced they will launch services in Singapore.

Two Chinese companies will collaborate with a local company in Singapore to launch autonomous taxi services in the country. Ride-hailing operator Grab announced on Saturday that it will partner with China's WeRide to start the service next year. Pony.ai is also working with ComfortDelGro to advance similar services, and they are currently awaiting approval from regulatory authorities.
