The annual output value of Guizhou wind power equipment manufacturing industry exceeds 15 billion yuan.

In recent years, Guizhou has seized the development opportunities of new energy industry, taking wind power equipment manufacturing as an important lever to promote new industrialization. Gradually, a complete industrial chain system covering key components such as wind turbine blades, towers, and generators has been established, realizing the industrial upgrade from traditional energy to green energy equipment manufacturing. Currently, the annual output value of Guizhou's wind power equipment manufacturing industry exceeds 15 billion yuan, forming an industrial cluster with Guiyang, Zunyi, Bijie, and Liupanshui as its core. The products not only meet the demand of the province and the southwest region, but are also exported to international markets in Southeast Asia, South America, and beyond, becoming another important growth pole for high-quality development of Guizhou's industry. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Guizhou has added a cumulative installed capacity of 3.44 million kilowatts of wind power, an increase of 62.5% compared to the end of 2020. Currently, there are wind power projects under construction with an installed capacity of 8.52 million kilowatts, and it is expected to exceed 10 million kilowatts by the end of 2025, with the proportion of green electricity reaching 30%.
