On Friday, New York's spot gold rose by 1.11% to $3684.80 per ounce, with a weekly cumulative increase of 1.15%. COMEX gold futures also rose by 1.11% to $3719.30 per ounce, with a weekly cumulative increase of 0.89%. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index closed up by 4.76% to 283.70 points, breaking the record high of 277.84 points set on September 15. The NYSE ARCA Gold Miners Index also closed up by 4.52% to 2010.36 points, surpassing the previous record high set on September 15. Spot silver rose by 2.14% to $43.0854 per ounce, while COMEX silver futures rose by 1.28% to $43.380 per ounce. COMEX copper futures fell by 0.43% to $4.6305 per pound. Spot platinum rose by 0.79% to $1408.36 per ounce, while spot palladium fell by 3.55% to $1157.44 per ounce.
